AccountRadar (accountradar.app) is a business-development service for firms that sell to other businesses. It finds companies that fit what a firm sells, researches them, drafts emails for the firm to approve, sends them from the firm's own mailbox and reads the replies. This notice explains what personal information that involves, where it comes from, and what you can do about it. The service is run by AccountRadar from South Africa. Questions or requests: support@accountradar.app.
1. If we, or one of our customers, emailed you
You are most likely here because an email reached you at your work address. That email came either from AccountRadar itself, about our own service, or from one of our customers, about theirs, sent from their own mailbox.
- What we hold: your name, job title, work email address and work phone number, and facts about your company that it publishes itself.
- Where it comes from: open business data (Overture Maps), your company's own website, public job adverts and public web search. We may check that a work address can receive email before anything is sent.
- Why: to contact businesses about services that are relevant to them. We rely on legitimate interests in business-to-business contact. Our own emails to the UK and Ireland go only to limited companies and similar organisations, not to sole traders or partnerships.
- Who decides: for our own emails, AccountRadardecides and is responsible. For a customer's emails, the customer decides who is contacted and is responsible; we process the information on their behalf.
To stop: reply "no thanks", or use the unsubscribe link in a follow-up. That sender stops straight away and your company is never contacted by them again. We keep a short record (the address or company domain) so the block stays in place. You can also write to support@accountradar.app.
Email opens: in some countries our emails carry a small image that shows whether an email was opened. Emails to people in the UK and the EU/EEA do not.
2. If you use AccountRadar
- Your account: name, email address, company and team members.
- What you tell us about your offer, your campaigns and the companies you want to reach.
- Your connected mailbox: the details needed to send and read email for you. Passwords and access keys are stored encrypted.
- Emails sent and received through the service, and the research, scores and notes kept on each company.
- Usage, including the AI work done for your account.
- Billing: payments are handled by Dodo Payments (merchant of record) or Paystack. We never see or store your card number.
We use this to provide the service, keep it safe, support you and meet our legal duties. Data you add yourself (your own contacts, notes and research) stays yours. Companies and facts from open data and public sources form a shared company pool that the service uses for every customer.
3. Who helps us run it
We share personal information only with the providers needed to run the service, and we never sell it.
| Provider | What for |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, logins and private files (stored in Ireland, EU) |
| Vercel | Hosting the website |
| RackNerd | Our server that researches, writes, sends and reads email |
| Anthropic (Claude) | Writing emails and answers |
| Google (Gemini) | Reading research, scoring companies, reading replies |
| Perplexity | Web searches during research |
| Resend | System emails such as sign-in links and alerts |
| Dodo Payments, Paystack | Taking payments |
| Your own mailbox provider | Sending and receiving your emails |
Some of these providers process data in the United States as well as the EU.
4. How long we keep it
- Account information: while your account is open, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Information about contacted people: for as long as it is useful for outreach, and deleted when you ask.
- Opt-out records: kept, so that a request not to be contacted keeps working.
5. Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how it is used, object to its use, or receive a copy. Write to support@accountradar.app and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to a regulator: the Information Commissioner's Office (UK, ico.org.uk), the Data Protection Commission (Ireland, dataprotection.ie) or the Information Regulator (South Africa, inforegulator.org.za).
6. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember which company and campaign you are working on. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
7. Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
